Full walkthrough of the newest station in the Singapore MRT system~ (with 100% less 'OPEN OPEN OPEN') DT4 Hume station of the Downtown Line has just recently been opened for service on 28 February 2025, after much anticipation and years of waiting from the nearby condominium residents. When the Downtown Line (stage 2) was opened back in December 2015, Hume station didn't exist back then and the location of the platform was merely a shell station, with only structural provisions built in place. It was just a mere concrete wall when observed from passing by trains before 2022 How it looks like before 2022 :    • Incomplete Train Station - DT4 Hume, ...   Hume station started its construction from 28 February 2021. It took exactly four years from the start of construction to the station opening. Before 28 February 2025 3pm, trains would just bypass the station without stopping. (still not using AI to write these description lol) Regarding 2:44, the original video recording (recorded on 20 March 2025) , onboard train set 9029, apparently lacks Hume station announcement for some reason. I didn't really bother to film back another ride with the announcement and believe it would just work if I slapped it with the clear audio of the announcement I recorded later on, onboard another train ('Fix it in post' moment). But I realized the timing of the arrival announcement mismatched after editing, hence the overlapping sounds.
