This is a video about Super Mario Bros. Deluxe running on a Nintendo DS original which I used an R4 Flash Cartridge & features the Game Boy Color emulator included in the SD card. I downloaded Super Mario Bros. Deluxe online & transferred the file to my SD card for my R4 card. While the DS & DS Lite features backwards compatibility for Game Boy Advance game cartridges, Game Boy original or Game Boy Color game cartridges unfortunately don’t work because the Z80 processor isn’t present on the DS motherboard. However, I used a Super Mario Bros. Deluxe physical game cartridge in slot 2 to make it look like I’m playing Game Boy Color games on the DS but again I used R4 to play the game!
