Ingredients Banana-3 nos Jaggery - 1/2 cup Grated Coconut - 1 1/2 cup Ghee - 1 tsp Method Heat a pan add water and jaggery Then peeled the banana and cut it into small pieces and set aside. Then grated the coconut and set aside. Ones the jaggery is completily melted ,remove from heat and set aside. Drain the jaggry and set aside. Heat ghee in a pan add chopped banana and saute them well. Then pour sufficent amount of jaggery water Cook them well till the jaggary is completely coated with banana Remove from fire and transfer it into a bowl. Heat the vessel with water and allow water to simmer. Take a bowl add rice flour and salt mix well Now we add the little by little amount of water, mix them well and set them aside. Then we take a puttu steamer and layer with grated coconut Again, we have to add rice flour Then layer with Banana jaggery mix again add some grated coconut on top. Now we have to layer with a rice flour and banana jaggery mix Finally we add grated coconut and level it up. Place this mould on top of the simmering water bath. Then cover with the lid and cook them well. Steam passing through the lid hole shows that the puttu is cooked and ready. Then we detach the mould from the boiling water bath Then push the rice cake with a long stick on to a serving plate.
