In today's video I tackle OTHERWORLD [Dungeons & Dragons] which as the name suggests, is a minecraft modpack inspired by dungeons and dragons. But I will be suffering. In Hardcore. Yes. Fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This modpack leans on the more difficult side of things, you have to pick carefully since every origin has an important factor for your playstyle. For example only artificers can make use of mending, or knights that can only use sharpness. And on top of that, otherworld removes natural regeneration, which means you can only heal through healing items or life steal, as well as a thirst and temperature bar that can easily make this pack feel like a modern rlcraft. Otherworld features an extensive quest book campaign that divides the gameplay up into different stages (Massive thumbs up for that) making progression feel rewarding and exciting as it forces you to take a more linear path.. however that comes with some drawbacks: This is version V4 of Otherworld, which means this pack is still gonna undergo a ton of changes and please remember that I don't hold grudges against modpacks, if a pack is unbalanced I have fun with the pain it brings :D I see a lot of potential for this pack in the future, as of right now it is quite unbalanced especially towards melee races/classes. Not a good or bad balance, some bosses go down in only a few hits while others hit insanely hard, overall I think the foundation is good for a solid D&D rpg modpack in minecraft!
