The Last Stop... France Van Life Ends in Amiens

All good things come to an end and this time we come back to a place to finish what we started back in February. 🚐🇫🇷 Watch The Whole France Motorhome Adventures Series:    • France 2024   In the UK this sort of park up would be unusual, but not in France. At Camping Des Cygnes there is both an aire, and right next door a campsite. What makes it quite unique is you are allowed to use the campsite facilities when staying on the aire but on this occasion we opted for a pitch as we wanted to be sure we had a park up close to Le Shuttle in Calais. The pitch we had was ideal for our van, lovely and spacious. But what we were really interested in was visiting the historic city of Amiens. A short 25 minute bike ride along the River Somme and we were in. There is a lot to see in the city, we had a wander around and visited the largest cathedral in the whole of France before checking out Jules Vernes House. Back at the campsite Kelly has another unusual encounter with her MiRider Bike - she swears it is haunted. What do you reckon? This was a lovely last stop in France, and we can't believe it has come to an end.
