Whether you are coming from the far future or are watching it recently, we hope you enjoy it 😉 This is our attempt on the Kaya Basque Burnt Cheesecake. When you have too many kaya on hand and if you eat anymore toast you might throw up, you try to make something with it. We weren’t expecting much, but maybe it’s the Malaysian in us, we like this version better than the original. So if you are curious, here is how we make it! Ingredients: 250g Cream Cheese 35g Sugar 35g Kaya (Make sure you use your favorite one!) 5g All purpose flour 1 Egg Yolk 1 Large Egg 150g Whipping Cream Bake at 220C for 30 minutes. If you are making one full cake, pan size: 14cm round pan We decided to make a few smaller ones for convenient eating, if you would like to do that as well, just make sure you reduce the baking time by 5 minutes and watch closely so you don’t burn it or overcook it. Once it’s caramelized on top, you can remove it from the oven! Enjoy! Much Love, Anya Asia Team
