This video is an attempt to imagine how the ruins of alien megastructures might look, scattered across the boundless expanses of the universe. It explores not so much the technological triumph of non-human civilizations, but their trace — the visual and emotional imprints left behind by those who once built structures on astronomical scales: inhabited worlds, energy systems, and engineered forms comparable in grandeur to stars and nebulae. These megastructures are shown broken, abandoned, and frozen in vacuum — evidence of civilizations that reached unimaginable heights, and yet still vanished. The reasons for their collapse are deliberately left unclear: an internal catastrophe, cosmic forces, or a conflict beyond our ability to comprehend. There are no answers here — only silence, cold, and scale. This is a reflection on fragility and impermanence: the idea that “greatness” may be only a brief flare… followed by the long drift of debris among the stars.
