A sunny February afternoon walk through the heart of Tel Aviv, starting by the Mediterranean Sea and ending among the city’s modern skyscrapers. The journey begins at Bograshov Beach, where the winter sun lights up the coastline and the relaxed beach atmosphere. From there, I walk along the promenade and turn into Bograshov Street, moving through the lively urban energy of central Tel Aviv. Passing through Ben Yehuda Street, you can see the ongoing construction of the Tel Aviv Light Rail — a reminder that the city is constantly evolving. I continue toward the intersection with King George Street, surrounded by cafés, bars, and a young, dynamic crowd enjoying the late afternoon sun. From there, I walk along Ben Zion Boulevard, a lively pedestrian-friendly stretch filled with electric scooters, cyclists, Wolt couriers, and people sitting outside with coffee, talking and relaxing. The route then leads to Habima Square, one of the cultural hearts of the city. Around Habima Theatre, people sit on the grass, rest in the sun, and enjoy the open public space. Continuing along Dizengoff Street toward Ibn Gabirol Street, the atmosphere shifts into an after-work rhythm — runners, people exercising, and the city slowing down just a bit. Moving through Kaplan Street, the skyline changes dramatically as we approach Sarona. Glass towers, tech offices, and fast-moving traffic define this modern side of Tel Aviv. I pass by Sarona Market, continue toward the iconic Azrieli Center, and reach the busy Tel Aviv HaShalom Railway Station. Along the Ayalon Highway, construction and expansion once again show how Tel Aviv is constantly building and transforming. This walk captures the contrast that makes Tel Aviv unique — beach vibes, creative streets, cultural landmarks, and a fast-moving modern skyline — all in one relaxed afternoon.
