Both Carole King and James Taylor released their version in 1971 on 'Tapestry' and 'Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon' respectively. James Taylor released it as a single in May 1971 and it reached number 1 in the US (his only single to do so) and number 4 in the UK. In celebration of the legendary year that was 1971, we’ve created a new show that honors the timeless spirit of this era. 🌟 1971 The Show is all about celebrating the greatest year in music history, and we’re proud to present our version of this classic. We based our version on the duet from the 'Live At The Troubadour' album.
