This is a song about not fitting in with my family and them not including me or my family in anything they have done and do. And I held on for so long, wishing and hoping they'd change and acknowledge me and my small family I've created. And they never cared. So this is a song that basically means in order to move on with my life, I have to just pretend like they are all dead in my mind, like that I've killed them off in my head. Because I've waited out too long with an open heart and open mind, to get absolutely no place. The whole album of "Mummified" Is about the struggles and BS that I've dealt with. Many of my songs discuss my feelings about family. You can be the kindest most gentle giant in the world, don't mean people will treat you right!
