Andrew Young, former aide to presidential candidate John Edwards and author of the bestseller "The Politician: An Insider's Account of John Edwards's Pursuit of the Presidency and the Scandal That Brought Him Down," knows a thing or two about ethics in leadership. Young shared his unique perspective on at the Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington, and also joined a panel discussion on the responsibilities of political leaders and how their decisions impact public trust and the democratic system, moderated by Evans School Dean Sandra O. Archibald. Young joined the discussion along with Daniel J. Evans, former governor of Washington state and U.S. senator; John McKay, Seattle University Law professor from practice and former United States Attorney; and J. Patrick Dobel, Evans School of Public Affairs professor.
