We were told to skip over San Jose, Costa Rica. However, we got an inside look at the daily life of Costa Ricans while here in San Jose. It was a very different feel then back home in the US. There were very few semi's delivering to restaurants, instead it was locals brining fresh fruits and vegetables on scoots. There were no big supermarkets, but instead fruit stands. It was truly a unique experiment. While this might not be the perfect stop, or a recommended stop for a honeymoon, if you have plenty of time in Costa Rica, its worth checking out!
