In this video, we are joining the 4WD Association of BC for their annual Toy Run to collect gifts for kids for Christmas. The weather was unpredictable with an atmospheric river forecast, bringing heavy rain, low clouds, and flooded trails. In this episode: Navigating the muddy back country trails of Port Alberni. Crossing high-altitude passes and breaking through the clouds. Cooking a stew on the tailgate in the pouring rain. Camping under massive Old Growth Cedar trees with the rooftop tent and diesel heater running. Despite the rain, the bonfire was huge and the cause was great.
