The magnificent rice terraces stretch across the mountainside, which are creating breathtaking landscapes, has recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The terraced rice paddies stretch a total of 20,000 kilometers, which is said to be enough to cover half the circumference of the earth. The terraced rice paddies are built on steep cliff-like slopes with an angle of 70 degrees. which is one of the steepest rice paddles in the world. They are all the product of the Ifugao ethnic group, a minority community that has occupied these mountains for thousands of years.
