Sony a7ii + Tamron 70-300 + Rode VideoMicro audio/exhaust/video test on Circuit Zandvoort

microphone gain was on 12 on the sony a7ii. This is the rode videomicro 1, not the 2. I looked for a good cheap external mic that could take the loud peaks of motorsport that easily exceed 120db. The reason i went for the videomicro 1 is because it has a max cpl of 140db which i really was looking forward to to try out in real life tests. I couldnt find any good comparison or real life test video of this microphone being tested with loud peak sounds so hereby my own test to make you make the decision on which mic to buy for motorsport. Iam really pleased to hear that the sound of this bmw e30 with pretty straight pipes didnt peak the audio at all which i often hear with other shotgun microphones in this category.
