Once again at Gálvez, once again Track Day Argentina, and once again the famous Chevy by León Power Test. This '75 Series 2 model, designed and developed specifically for track racing, boasts a Chevrolet 6-cylinder engine pushing around 415 HP. While some original parts were retained (upholstery, paint, windshield, and block), mechanically we're talking about a Turismo Carretera. It was fitted with a roll cage and equipped with TC tires and brakes, always maintaining the car's original look. This time around, thanks to Mauricio's invitation, the owner of the Chevy, I had the opportunity to take a few laps as a passenger and bring the first onboard camera to RK. It's incredibly difficult to be objective and describe in words the sensation of being up there. The power, the braking, the handling (despite lacking spoilers), and the sound are truly incredible. It wasn't until I was 25 that I had the fortune to get into a car of this type for the first time, and despite having teary eyes during the laps I took, I tried to share a different perspective, with a camera in hand and plenty of shakes typical of a car with such power. I'm ahead of your requests and I can already tell you that yes, the next video will feature another gem from General Rodríguez, specifically "The Retirees' Falcon", although unfortunately without an onboard camera.
