Complete with 12 rooms (most with its own fireplace), servants quarters, a separate servants staircase and an elevator, this 4,500 square ft waterfront estate sits on over 30 acres of land. The house was sold to Director John Lee Thompson in 1998 - he’s a Hollywood director best known for movies such as Cape Fear, Woman in a Dressing Down and Planet of the Apes. After his passing in 2002, the Thompson family sold the home and it’s been forgotten ever since. It’s such a shame to see a once magnificent home left to rot and be destroyed by vandals.
