2023 American Pianists Awards Club Finals – Late Set

Five finalists of the 2023 American Pianists Awards perform solo and trio in the penultimate event of the competition! Caelan Cardello, Esteban Castro, Paul Cornish, Thomas Linger and Isaiah J. Thompson are competing for the prestigious Cole Porter Fellowship, given every four years to an American jazz pianist at the conclusion of this unique 13-month competition process. The Club Finals play host to all five offering their final trio performances of the competition at the beautiful Cabaret Indianapolis. Grammy Award-winning vocalist Sylvia McNair hosts tonight’s performance which will see each finalist perform trio with Kenny Phelps on drums and Nick Tucker on bass.
