Springmaid Mountain Campground Review

When you have visited as many campgrounds as we have, you see some great and not so great. Let me say, not all the "not so great" has anything to say about the owners...for the most part. Intentions are good and the professionalism shown by either the management / owners are usually spot on. Our review is "OUR" review only and, I have to say, we could not find "1" review on YouTube about this campground or "ANY" review from a RV owner (?) One person did point out the same issue we saw on our initial drive to the campground from the office. Usually, when we come across such campgrounds we will pass on reserving until we are in the area and can visit. In this case we took a chance and had a great time overall. I think with this campground, they may need to rethink allowing large (over 30 feet) RV's, travel trailers and fifth-wheels to continue to come to the campground or due some major grading, road widening, graveling and putting in an extra road for exiting / entrance. With this being said...they have an awesome place for tent campers, pop-ups, truck campers, camper vans ect... trout fishing, kayaking, horse back riding, tubing, hiking, waterfall and cabin rentals...these folks have got it going on for sure in these areas and I "HIGHLY" advise you to seek out this place for the things mentioned above. Beautiful quite area and lots to see and do around the vicinity. Hope this review helps my RV friends!
