Digital Story | Creative Times | Superact | Stories of Time from our Elders

Guinness Care and Support enlisted Superact's Storyteller, Stu Packer, and filmmaker & photographer, Kevin Redpath to gather and record Digital Stories. Their aim was to record audio from the Elders in three of Guinness Care & Support's homes. Stu would encourage and, through heightened chat, gather these stories. Kevin would record audio and take professional photos. Both were involved in the post production, expertly weaving these stories together to make this compelling Digital Story. The finished stills image film was shown at the Creative Times 2015 exhibition at the Guildhall in Bath. The theme was Time. During the recording both Kevin and Stu came to realise that they had come to hear and to witness these people. They had come to honour their Elders. This is the result.
