The municipality Walchwil (Canton Zug) is nestled on the eastern shores of Lake Zug on the southern slope of the Zugerberg, in central Switzerland . Because of the sheltered sunny position Walchwil is often referred to as "Zuger Riviera" . The Walchwilerberg lying in autumn and winter often above the fog line and gives the inclined visitors plenty of sunshine and an unforgettable view of the "cotton sea", which likes to spread over the entire Plateau.
