Phillips’ Hong Kong 2022 Fall Auctions realised HK $593 million / US $76 million and achieved a combined sell-through rate of 93%. Leading the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Sales in association with Yongle auction was Gerhard Richter’s striking Abstraktes Bild (774-1) which sold for over HK $89 million/ US $11.4 million, marking the most expensive lot that sold across all auction houses in Hong Kong last week, and the second highest price achieved for the artist in Asian auctions this year. ‪@phillipswatches‬ achieved yet another ‘white glove’ sale and Phillips Jewels Hong Kong Fall sale total increased by 125% over the previous season.
