For the last 6 months I have been involved in the FSA testing program to work on an upcoming release. As part of that I’ve had the chance to ride the 11 speed FSA K-Force WE groupset. I need to stress this is not a review or me endorsing the product, as it is very much a work in progress. It is also a product that is constantly being updated with internal firmware updates and even hardware updates. What this is however is a comprehensive look at how it works on the road, something I feel is missing on YouTube, there really isn’t much information at all on this product. K-Force WE is a high-tech electronic groupset with an elegant design. A unique product that will make you change the way you ride your bike. Long battery life, wireless technology at the shifters for smooth, quiet and precise shifting. Features FSA K-Force WE Brakelever/Shifter The wireless FSA K-Force WE Brakelever/Shifter is a control for the high end, electronic FSA roadbike drivetrain. Its ergonomic shaped body is made from composite and the flared out brake lever of lightweight UD-carbon. The brake lever is optimised and optically fitted for the FSA K-Force brakeset. The WE shifter has a rocker switch outside and behind the brake lever. The top half is effectively one button; the lower half another button. Ex factory the top button moved the chain onto a larger cog or ring and the lower button did the opposite. Thanks to ANT+ wireless technology, the shifters communicate with the derailleurs without any cables and allows an easy mounting and adjustment. Each FSA K-Force WE shifter is powered by easily replaceable CR2032 coin cells (included). FSA K-Force WE Front Derailleur The FSA K-Force WE front derailleur features high-quality manufacturing, solid strength and innovative technologies. The K-Force WE front derailleur is the control center of the FSA Wireless Electronic (WE) drivetrain. Thanks to ANT+ wireless technology, the shifters communicate with the derailleurs without any cables and allows an easy mounting and adjustment. The front derailleur cage is made from stainless steel for superior strength and precisely shifting. Furthermore the high-end parallelogram allows for an exactly swinging. Electronic shifting allows for fast, precise and reliable gear FSA K-Force WE Rear Derailleur The FSA K-Force WE rear derailleur features high-quality materials, incredible performance and innovative Technologies. It is made of composite materials, equipped with a carbon cage and energy saving composite pulleys. Its hardware consist of stainless steel. This material combination provides a weight of just 207 grams. Electronic shifting allows for fast, precise and reliable gear changes. Thanks to ANT+ wireless technology, the shifters communicate with the derailleurs without any cables and allows an easy mounting and adjustment. FSA K-Force WE Rear Cassette One cage length for all: 11-25T up to 11-32T cassette! The cogs of the FSA K-Force 11-speed cassette are made from heat-treated steel featuring a nickel plated finish and extra lightweight titanium. Furthermore a large contact area will protect alloy freehub bodies. The FSA K-Force cassette offers high performance and great durability. Thanks to a aluminium spider it weighs just 198 grams. FSA K-Force WE Rear Chain This first class FSA K-Force WE 11-speed chain fits excellent with the new K-Force WE groupset. It offers quiet and efficient shifting performance and a superior durability. Its hollow pins and cnc machined outer links provide a low weight. With practical chain connector (CN-022N) for an uncomplicated installation.
