This is definitely not a step-by-step on setting up a t:slim X2 but rather a *walkthrough*. If walkthroughs are generally disorganized, wordy, and maybe missing stuff. I did my best though to give an idea what the tasks are in setting up a new X2. In this video I focus on getting basal rates set up under Personal Profile and TRY to explain the correction factor and carb ratio settings that are located in the same place. I do think it’s important to note two things: the first is that the menus and set up requirements differ slightly from a pump with Basal-IQ to one with Control-IQ. Most wording in the menus, but not all, remains the same, but I am referring in this video to my menu on Basal-IQ. Last thing I’ll say is the last two minutes of the video are... maybe not helpful. I did have difficulty explaining what is available under the Personal Profile option in the menu, so I would just like to reiterate that following the prompts and paying close attention to the information you’re inputting is the way through this.
