During the last twenty years he has devoted his life to taking care of women suffering with cancer. He is the Director of the Department of Gynecology Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Madrid. He is a Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas and President of the Educational Commission in his institution. Editor of the Journal "Gynecology Oncology: a multidisciplinary approach" and reviewer of several journals on the field of Gynecology Oncology.
