Visiting the Pontiac Transportation Museum, in Pontiac Michigan

Did a trip to the newly opened Pontiac Museum, in of course Pontiac, Michigan. It's in an old elementary school that is being converting into a Pontiac Museum. Like all museums, they need some funding to keep the progress going. I think there in need of $60,000 to complete phase two, plus over $100,000 is still needed for phase three, so if you have a thick wallet you want to thin out, I am sure they could help you out. Lots of cool old Pontiac's, including a concept four seat Pontiac Fiero. There was a "one off" special made Grand Am station wagon I think you might find interesting. Also a Canadian built Pontiac Parisienne station wagon on a Chevrolet chassis. I hope the signs were clear enough to pause on them to read, as some of the cars had interesting stories behind them. Richard also talked about his step grandpa being a designer at GM, doing concept drawings of what became the sought after GMC motorhomes, that were built at GM Truck and Bus in Pontiac, Mi.
