The DB11 is Aston's first move away from the Vertical/Horizontal methodology which is slightly longer than the DB9 giving engineers more room to slot the twin-turbo V12 behind the front axle and the transmission housed in a transaxle, allowing for greater agility in what is essentially a heavy grand tourer.
