ME Association disability Rating scale document: https://meassociation.org.uk/2024/04/... I've not known much detail about the different severities of ME/CFS and how they are categorised and even less detail about the percentages and how they are split into percentages. So in this video I went through the ME Association's rating scale and discussed my health now and where I land on the spectrum of disability as well as what level of CFS I had during the height of my illness and the different symptoms and experiences that have come along with having a variable illness. Going through the pdf was very interesting but it made me wonder, is knowing your severity level important? I'm a big believer in listening to your body being the most important thing, and the scale could be useful for that. However, I also see a lot of potential, to use it against your body, either to make yourself do things you 'should' be able to do or to add a clear sign-post to the already difficult situation of your ME/CFS increasing in severity. Have you used the Rating scale before? Do you think its a useful tool? Watch Next: 10 years Sick: • 10 years ago I got sick and never recovere...
