I wanted to try out the Dewalt 6 gallon model, but they didn't have it in stock at my local Lowe's. I ended up deciding to get this 2 gallon model instead. My 12 gallon Ridgid shop vac always seemed to be getting in my way, it was difficult to store, all of the hoses and pieces were falling off when I moved it, and it just seemed too big for what I needed. This 2 gallon shop vac has been awesome to use! It is lightweight, it uses 20 volt batteries instead of being corded, and it's so compact! It has seemed to be powerful enough to vacuum up everything I've needed to so far. It doesn't seem to use up the battery life that quickly either. The only thing I would change about it is making more space for me to fit a vacuum bag in there more easily. It's a tight fit with the filter taking up most of the inside space. Side note...not sure if this box had already been opened and returned. It didn't seem like the most official packaging, but everything seemed to be there and working well.
