Race to World First Day 8 Recap: Echo Takes the Lead after Week 1!

Echo have taken the lead in the Race to World First, securing the only Reset 1 kill of Sprocketmonger Locknstock, inching ahead of their competition in Liquid and Method, who both fell short. Locknstock is a deceptive boss that's very hard to take from 15 to 0% (at least with this gear) due to the brutally hard phase three overlaps. Reclear is the next order of business for everyone, with Liquid having finished pretty much all of their weekly gearing up activities and Echo and Method currently working on them at the time of recording this Recap. Echo have a small edge, tempered by the fact that there are still three bosses to go, but they've gained more week one item level than Liquid while also getting to pull the One-Armed Bandit a bit off stream after taking down Locknstock (a decision that made a lot of sense given the timing of the kill and the impending reset). If there was large information to be gained that affects their gearing decisions that would be huge, but it's relatively unlikely that anything that groundbreaking was discovered.
