In Coimbatore, the organs of Krishnaveni, a Deaf woman who was declared brain dead after a road accident, were donated, giving hope and life to others. Krishnaveni met with a serious road accident on 18 January 2026 on the Malumichampatti road in Chettypalayam. She suffered severe injuries and was immediately admitted to FIMS Hospital in Sundarapuram for treatment. Doctors tried their best to save her and provided intensive medical care. However, on 21 January at around 6.30 pm, Krishnaveni lost consciousness. After medical examination, doctors confirmed that she was brain dead. Following this heartbreaking news, her relatives made the courageous decision to donate her organs. With the guidance of Dr. Murugadoss, the organ donation process was carried out smoothly and according to medical regulations. Her eyes, kidneys, liver, and other organs were carefully retrieved and sent to different hospitals for transplantation. Her eyes were donated to Aravind Hospital in Coimbatore. Her kidneys were sent to Erode Sudha Hospital, and her liver was donated to FIMS Hospital. These organs will help save and improve the lives of patients in need. Doctors and hospital staff paid tribute to Krishnaveni on behalf of the hospital administration. Her relatives expressed gratitude and shared that although Krishnaveni is no longer alive, she will continue to live on through those who receive her donated organs. This act of organ donation stands as a powerful example of humanity, kindness, and selfless giving even in moments of deep loss. #OrganDonation #GiftOfLife #CoimbatoreNews #DeafCommunity #HumanityFirst #LifeAfterLife #MedicalNews #FIMSHospital #AravindHospital #ErodeSudhaHospital #RoadAccidentAwareness #InspiringStory #HopeLivesOn #ISHNews #IndianSignLanguage #IndiaSigningHands #ISH #ISHNews #ISL #IndianSignLanguage #SignLanguage #Information #India #Deaf #DeafCulture #DeafCommunity ISH News broadcasts the Daily News and Entertainment online in Deaf-friendly accessible formats which are in Indian Sign Language (ISL), visual images with titles, voice-over and closed-captions.
