In this video, we will be listening to TWO different versions of the song "Monkey Wrench" by Foo Fighters off of their 1997 album "The Colour & The Shape" (This is also the album that has "Everlong" and "My Hero" on it!) One version is the major label release that we know and love, and the other version is the original demo. I recently found out that this song originally featured a different drummer on it - William Goldsmith from the band Sunny Day Real Estate. Apparently there was some tension between Dave Grohl and William Goldsmith while in the studio and Dave Grohl ended up playing drums on this song and a bunch of others. Which version is better?
