Meet Dr. Elizabeth McCuaig, a primary care physician providing inclusive, compassionate care at two Northwell Health locations: Downtown at Chelsea South and Uptown at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital (MEETH). Growing up in the mountains of Vermont, Dr. McCuaig was initially drawn to medicine by her fascination with science. Her passion deepened through the meaningful human connections she found in patient care, a philosophy she further developed during her residency at Northwell Health’s Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. McCuaig believes that feeling comfortable with your doctor is essential to high-quality healthcare. She is committed to creating an environment where patients feel heard, understood, and safe, particularly those who may have felt overlooked within the medical system. While she welcomes patients of all backgrounds, she has a special focus on serving the LGBTQ+ community and strives to understand each patient’s unique health needs.
