A review of the ONOOO GPS based speed camera monitor, OOONO CO-DRIVER NO2, is here. An easy speed camera trap monitor to alert you of fixed or mobile cameras or other hazards. Always on when you need it. Easy to add recent mobile cameras to the database. It might save some driving points or your license. Some will say just don’t break the speed limits, but 99.99% of people will at some time in their life exceed the limit. Sometimes it could be safer to quickly pull into a safe gap rather than go slow and cut someone up in order to pull in before a road narrowing for instance. As long as doing so still allows you to stop in the distance you can see and there are no other hazards. Sometimes speeding fines appear to be about raising money more than about safety, especially when the groups collecting the fines keep 75% of the money! In my opinion. Others may disagree! Comments below! Help avoid the fines and maybe consider this gadget, or others. But don’t forget, make sure you can still stop in the distance that you can see, you don’t have to drive at the speed limit when there are high hazard risks like kids coming out of school or parked cars hiding people - use common sense and drive slowly then. Some people think they are doing the safe thing by driving at the speed limit. Often it is inappropriately too low and at times too high (schools at leaving time), so use common sense. Voltaire: “Rules are for the guidance of wise men,….. “. The product reviewed is from OOONO (pronounced OHNO) – from “Danish innovators in smart products for a safer everyday life”. They call the product: CO-DRIVER NO2 “a sleek car safety gadget in the UK”. RRP £69.99 fir the CO-DRIVER NO2. (It’s the NO1 that is cheaper and nearer the £50 (or cheaper) mentioned in the viseo.
