I've wanted to do something Cyber-inspired for ages, and with the latest episodes providing such heavy Cyber content, I really wanted to get my teeth into something et voila! This is a medley/pastiche of many of the themes written for the Cybermen since their inception in the 60s. Principle inspiration came from 'March of the Cybermen' composed by Malcolm Clarke for Earthshock, which is chilling and personifies the Cybermen perfectly. Also featured are references to Tomb of the Cybermen, The Five Doctors (a direct sample), Murray Gold's motif for the Cybermen and Segun Akinola.
