This is what courage looks like. For my first video, I reflect on courage through Matthew 14:27–33, where Peter steps out of the boat and walks on water toward Jesus. This moment I want to step out of what feels safe and familiar. To trust. To move. If you’ve been feeling called to step into something new… If fear has been whispering louder than faith… This message is for you. ✨ “Take courage. Don’t be afraid.” — Matthew 14:27 Let this be your reminder that the same God who calls you out of the boat will hold you above the waves. If this encouraged you, like, comment, and subscribe for more conversations about faith, identity, and becoming who you were created to be. Matthew 14:27-33 ESV 27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid.” 28 And Peter answered him, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” 29 He said, “Come.” So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind,[a] he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me.” 31 Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. 33 And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”
