In this episode of our vintage camper renovation I am removing all of the hardware, the hinges, knobs, and door catches. I will be cleaning them up and reusing as much. as possible. I'm also taking apart the cushions that have metal springs inside, this way I can properly dispose of them at the metal recycling plant. My husband Daren and son Curtis are working on the front of the trailer, getting the propane tank holder off and removing the rusted battery holder. Daren also found some numbers and words on the tongue of the trailer. We then moved inside to pull apart the back wall, there was a substantial amount of water damage. in this section of the camper so we wanted to see what we were dealing with....it's not good! And even though I said I was done, I wasn't. We then removed the propane fridge, some contact paper from the counters and some laminate that was acting as the back splash. Oh...and then I pull up some carpet too.
