Hello and welcome! In this video I will be taking a scrap piece of plum wood and making a small bud vase/weed pot using a woodturning lathe. This piece of wood would have likely sat on the shelf until it was ultimately trashed or burnt. Making something from it seems a far better alternative. If it's big enough to be held between centres, it can be turned. Upon starting, I didn't know what the final shape was going to be as I was designing this on the fly while working with what the wood wanted to do. Lightly sanded and finished in Linseed oil.
