WHO IS A TRUE CHRISTIAN? Without the Spirit of God in us, we may be living, but we are dead. What it means is that one is a true Christian only if the Spirit of God has returned to him or her. Romans 8:9 – “But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.” That is why Paul said to the Galatians that what matters is that Christ be formed in them – Galatians 4:19. And only those led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God – Romans 8:14. MESSAGE RECAP: WHAT IS THE PURPOSE? – to be conformed to His image.
