This video was recorded when End of Dragons (EoD) was the latest expansion. However, apart from adding a relic, the only notable difference since the time of recording is that alacrity does now pulse while overloading instead of only being applied at the end. This makes it important to stack with the group for the whole overload instead of only at the end. It also means that it takes longer to overstack alacrity, so especially at ramp ups you want to minimize delaying overloads. As this only changes the gameplay slightly, this video is still up-to-date. In order to tank, I need to have more toughness than everyone else in the squad. Since the damage pressure on the tank is very low, I only need as little toughness as necessary to be the tank. Even though I'm tanking, I also have to do green 3, which means to get into specific greens and catch the big Enforcer orb as well as 4 additional orbs to get back down. Usually, Dhuum will just wait until I come back down (which is what he did in this kill, check out @ValfynGaming 's DPS PoV of this run: • GW2 | Dhuum | Condition Virtuoso ), though it can happen that he does an auto attack at the group, or - very rarely - walks around weirdly. My first green appears at heart at 8:30 boss timer, and then every 90s 3 symbols clockwise. In my green, when looking into the middle, the big orb will be to my left. I make sure not to touch the blue light in the middle that sucks me in as this will instantly kill me. I also have to be quick, as I only have 15s (this includes the time it takes to be lifted up) before I'd be killed as well. If you want, you can try to catch medium orbs (Messenger) as well, but focus on the big orb and getting enough to get down in time. However, if you grab a Messenger orb during the pre event, let the other players know so that they can try to get one as well; due to how Messenger spawning works, if the green players only grab one Messenger orb during the pre event and the green 3 player does not manage to get the Messenger orb during their second green shortly before the first Greater Deathmark (middle attack), a Messenger will spawn directly in between Dhuum and the group, which usually leads to a random player grabbing it and can easily result in chaos. I'm also responsible to help cleanse Torment from my party after every Greater Deathmark (middle attack), which I do by using Water Overload, which also re-applies Alacrity to my group as soon as possible. Unfortunately, during our first and only Greater Deathmark at 3:40, someone grabbed the messenger in front of us and I didn't manage to properly hit my party with Alacrity - please be careful not to grab that messenger at the first Greater Deathmark if you're not the Kiter. At 10%, I want to grant Alacrity, Protection, Regeneration + Soothing Mist, and Superspeed or Swiftness to my party with Earth Overload, attuning to Water and either attuning to Air or using Eye of the Storm. Since we had a Quickness Scrapper, Superspeed was provided by them though. I bring Feel the Burn to top off Might. The rezz glyph can have great value at Dhuum: If multiple people are downed, Earth rezz glyph can revive 3 players; If someone ends up downed in Dhuum's big AoE, I can rezz + teleport them to me with Air rezz glyph. Eye of the Storm can be used to provide Superspeed during Greather Deathmark (middle attack) and at 10% or to break group members out of fear if they got hit by the cracks. I should have waited for the player with the bomb to return to us before prestacking Might at 1:58 - luckily, they got Might from other sources pretty quickly though after returning to the stack.
