NEW LOW: Panthers comeback fell short, as guys were ruled out for roster management purposes

On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) is here with Nich Fairbanks(@Prudentia0) for another edition of Fairbanks Friday. The two broke down the Panthers 4-2 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets, where the lineup was already thin due to roster management purposes with Jeff Petry getting traded earlier in the day to Minnesota, AJ Greer being a scratch, and Daniil Tarasov getting the start in Columbus when in normal circumstances, it would be Bobrovsky. Panthers had better jump on Thursday, but it was a bunch of difficulty getting to the middle of the ice as the Blue Jackets did a great job getting into the lanes defensively. Columbus converted with deflected and getting to the net front while they forced the Panthers to turn the puck over in their zone. Florida make a push after being down 3-0 with goals from Niko Mikkola and Sam Bennett on the power play, and for a split second, looked to have tied it at three. However, Jesper Boqvist was called for goaltender interference as he was in the crease, but Ivan Proverov did not allow Boqvist an opportunity to leave, so Florida could not complete the comeback as Columbus added an empty netter at the end.
