Let's visit Frank Costanza in Boca together. Moving from Brooklyn to Boca Raton was a big change—but honestly, it felt like coming home in a whole new way. Boca has a vibrant and deeply rooted Jewish community that’s as warm as the Florida sunshine. From the moment I arrived, I found synagogues of every denomination—Orthodox, Conservative, Reform—you name it. Friday nights at shul feel familiar, like the ones back in New York, but with palm trees swaying outside. There’s an energy here that’s proud, joyful, and unmistakably Jewish. The culture here is rich and active, not just religiously but socially and culturally too. You’ve got places like the Levis JCC, which is really the heartbeat of the community—offering everything from lectures and theater to fitness and Hebrew classes. Kosher delis, bakeries, and restaurants are easy to find. There are Jewish day schools, active youth groups, and even senior circles that keep everyone connected across generations. I see grandparents, parents, and kids all celebrating holidays together—Purim carnivals, Chanukah lightings, Passover seders—it’s all here, and done with heart. What makes Boca so special is that you don’t have to look for your Jewish identity here—it’s part of daily life. You meet someone new and chances are they’re from New York or New Jersey, just like you, and they’ll ask where your family davened or where you got that good challah. We’ve built something real here—modern, welcoming, and rooted in tradition. It's not just a retirement haven or a sunny escape—it's a community that lives its Jewish values every day, and I’m proud to be a part of it.
