Time for @NocturneGamingOfficial to pay a visit to Ravenswood Bluff to play some Blood on the Clocktower. Come watch us play this incredibly entertaining Social Deduction game by The Pandemonium Institute. In Blood on the Clocktower, players are comprised of two teams: a small but mighty "Evil" team led by a Demon, and a larger but less coordinated "Good" team that must find the Demon and execute the Demon before slowly being picked off one by one. Y'know... Blood on the Clocktower is fun, but have you ever wondered what some different takes on already existing characters would look like? Like... what a Saint would look like as a Minion? What a Vizier would look like as an Outsider? What a Savant would look like as a Demon? What a Doomsayer would look like as a Townsfolk? Well that's where Lizards! comes into play. Lizards is the BotC Homebrew to end all BotC Homebrews. Why? Because for every game of Lizards, the script is different. In other Homebrew scripts, like Fall of Rome or even Into the Labyrinth, the cast of characters is static, just like any custom or base 3 script in Blood on the Clocktower. But in Lizards, well... imagine a game of Fishbucket with infinite permutations: everyone has an ability based loosely on the ability of an already existing character, but is either a Townsfolk Lizard, an Outsider Lizard, a Minion Lizard, or the most fearsome of all: a Demon Lizard bent on putting all the other Lizards of Lizardwood Bluff into torpor. For the full set of rules and explanation, please check out the official document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1o... So, long before this game was played, I had those playing submit their choices for the respective mutations they wished to have depending on the type of Lizard they each ended up being. Then, I determined which type of Lizard (Townsfolk, Outsider, Minion, or Demon) they'd each be, based on player count, etc., and crafted abilities based on their requested mutations. The result? A wild and wacky game featuring a pair of Al-Hadikhia based Townsfolk; a Sentinel Outsider; a pair of Minions based on the Vortox and the Saint; and a Demon espoused from a mutation of KazaOokami's favorite: the Savant. Is it balanced? Certainly not. ... but is it fun? Find out as we play Blood on the Clocktower!
