Ceramic Coating The Cat 316F With IGL Eclipse

A few months ago Jon from Dirty2Dreamy Detail Services reached out to me on Facebook asking if I ever considered putting a protective coating on any of our equipment. I had heard of it being done on cars but never construction equipment. He explained the benefits of protecting from salt corrosion, scratches, sun fading and the ease of cleaning that comes from a coating. He ended up offering to industrial strength ceramic coat one of our machines for free. All he asked was that if we liked him and his product to post about it to let other people know. A few weeks ago Jon, his partner Andrew and a local installer, Steve from Synergy Automotive Protection came out and put IGL Coatings Eclipse on our Cat 316F. They were all great guys and we had a lot of fun. The product is pretty cool and really makes the machine shine even though it is very new! The coating should last around 4 years.
