Halloween Pinball - Gameplay (WIP)

It's nearly Halloween and so I decided to design and build my own Halloween themed pinball game using the very excellent Future Pinball. I started work on it about 2 weeks ago. I had a clear idea of what I wanted and set out to create it. I wanted something simple, easy to shoot and kind of retro...and be able to build the whole thing in less than 3 weeks. The first movie has an incredible atmosphere that I wanted to capture for the game, so John Carpenter's excellent soundtrack is in the game along with many variations of the main theme (there are a few). And since the dawn of movie making, all horror directors rely heavily on lightning and thunder to create fear and tension....so I've recreated that too. As you can see in the vid, each new ball starts with a unique Skill Shot feature: you have six shots in your gun and must hit the pop up Micheal target 3 times to get the Super Skill Shot. Miss him and you waste your bullets. The rest of the game follows the story line from the movies: you are Dr Loomis and must hunt down and stop Micheal Myers from slaughtering teens in Haddonfield. The local Police are there to assist you. And just for fun, and because it's creepy as hell, I've added the Silver Shamrock sequence from Halloween III as a special feature. You really don't want to know what happens if you fail to turn off the TV commercial in time.....
