The Artemis II Crew Reid Weisman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen are today at the Kennedy Space Center to participate in a suited crew test and crew equipment interface test in the Multi-Payload Processing Facility (MPPF) where they will have the opportunity to enter their Orion spacecraft and practice interacting with all the hardware aboard the crew module and make any necessary changes before the spacecraft is stacked later this year atop the SLS (Space Launch System) rocket inside the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) at Kennedy Space Center (KSC). The next manned mission to the moon with the Artemis II crew is scheduled to take place in February 2026 at the earliest, about 53 years after Apollo 17 the last lunar landing in December 1972. They have come for a 30-minute Q&A session at the LC-39 Press Site, where the media are present due to the upcoming launch of the Dragon Crew-11 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) scheduled at 12:09 pm on July 31.
