In this episode, we continue our São Tomé road trip by heading south to explore the most remote part of the island. We start at Boca do Inferno, where the Atlantic crashes directly into the volcanic rock, before driving inland through dense jungle in an attempt to see Pico Cão Grande. By the end of the day, we reach Praia Inhame and spend the night on São Tomé’s southern coast. The following morning, we take a boat to Ilha das Rolas, home to the equator and one of the most unique geographic points on the planet.
