Played with DEMUL, it has some framerate drops at times [often when recording] so apologies for the garbled sound moments. As I pulled off a 1CC in MARZ's challenge mode [normal difficulty] that should be up on the main channel sooner or later... • Virtual-On MARZ - Challenge Mode Normal 1C... ...But you can check out early on the link above if you want to, I felt like trying out Force again through DEMUL [as it somehow runs on my PC, unlike the X360 port as I can't run it on Xenia, so I have to play that on another PC] Also did it while trying the card emulation feature, which is why I have the STRIKER name show up on each pre-fight intermission [which reminds me that screen is SLOOOOW, only now realizing its for the case of four human players and being able to see their data, but playing alone, even offline in the X360 version, just makes that long intermission annoying to go through each continue - somehow Marz's challenge mode addressed it by not showing the fight intro every continue]. TIMESTAMPS 00:00 Start 00:45 Game Actually Begins [fun] 04:26 fei-yen said no more fun 06:35 Mission 5 completed 08:07 Jaguarandi decided to be MEAN 12:32 Jaguarandi defeated 13:28 Launch Sequence and Mission 6 done 15:34 never ending agony 27:47 MISSION 7 COMPLETED 29:30 Don't know how I won this first try 31:20 FINAL BOSS GOES DOWN 34:42 Final Time Results ....And also heard you can't get new virtuaroids without fighting other players, so that unfortunately makes it- BREAKING NEWS: I COULD get one new Virtuaroid, and it was the Temjin 707J+...which happens to be a bit worse in stats than the default one [but looks like the OT model]. The game did tell me that I had to choose to keep the old one or switch to the new one, so I guess I can't have more than a single VR on the card. About how I got it, I did the uhhh Sgt. Hatter's basic combat training thing for the first time, got a B-Rank and that screen appeared on the terminal lol So...here's what happens. Force's CPU fighters from the fifth match onwards are VERY annoying with their dodging, more so when your CPU partner always has a chance of failing to do anything useful for you [not damaging the CPU enough to at least run for timeout, or getting hit and making that not viable]. You'll really understand that pain when you [for whatever reason decide to] watch the amount of times it took for the Bal D Tigra fight to be done, and even then it was by a close timeout thanks to the CPU partner [did more damage to the other enemy] as I couldn't do anything but run away and TRY to attack my enemy, almost always missing the shots. Same thing with Fei-Yen and Angelan, but at least that somehow took one continue, and even more surprising, didn't need any for the Apharmd [LUCKY uppercut I got] and Raiden [straight up realized I was NOT surviving if I tried to chase it when time was running out...only thing I could do was to wait and hope the CPU didn't get hit lmao]. Thankfully, the Ajim and Guerlain fight has a strat I figured out from playing MARZ that still somehow works here: Surfing Ram at the start, melee attacks until they fuse, and uppercut the vulnerable crystal whenever possible. Besides having to use uppercuts while standing away because the normal melee sword doesn't reach them in here [they float a bit too high, unlike MARZ where they are closer to the ground].
