LYNX – From Concept to Reality An Autonomous Snowplowing Robot This video documents the development of LYNX, an autonomous snowplowing robot developed by the ARTUS team. Over a period of nine months, LYNX was designed, built, programmed, and tested through an iterative engineering process. The project combines mechanical design, electrical systems, sensor integration, and autonomous navigation software into a single robotic platform. The development included: Mechanical design and prototyping Custom drivetrain and track system In-house-made battery system Sensor integration (LiDAR, RGB & depth cameras, GNSS, IMU) Autonomous navigation and perception software Extensive real-world testing, including snow conditions After more than 2,000 hours of development work, LYNX was successfully powered on and operated autonomously.
