Allan Holdsworth - Where Is One Lesson & Tutorial Introduction: 0:00 Intro / "Verse part": 1:20 "Chorus": 9:52 A minor Pedal: 13:05 Outside Section: 16:54 Quick Playthru to 2nd Verse: 21:31 2nd Verse / Chorus variation: 23:14 Intro Variation before solo: 26:37 Solo section: 27:24 Thoughts on soloing over Outside section: 29:05 Spokes teaser: 29:24 Last Verse/Chorus repeat / Ending: 31:56 Hello! I had a lot of requests for this one so I figured I'd get this done asap. This song doesn't have many different chords and none are really very challenging except for the first chord so this is def a good intermediate song. It has some other challenges to it and has a good amount of variation in it. So if you can play some simpler Allan tunes, this one should be a really good test to get to that next level. I also talk about the one of those 'outside' sections in the solo that appears in a few other songs and what I think Allan might be thinking about it. Some of you also might take some issue with some of the chord names. I figured I would add I did not take the bass note into consideration and only focus on the chords. I also tried to give the chord the most straightforward name I can, even if functionally it might not be correct. Also, let me know what other songs you would like to see! For those that do not know, I have written a book that lists and arranges chords used by Allan. In doing that I have transcribed over 50 of his tunes.
